About the HPA

We are the Hamburg Port Authority, and we are committed to advancing the Port of Hamburg with conviction and passion, around the clock. What has motivated us for over 20 years

We don't just do anything. We plan, construct, and maintain buildings, roads, bridges, locks, rails, flood barriers, and quay walls to ensure the smooth running of port operations. But that's not all: we monitor and control shipping traffic using state-of-the-art technology and develop innovative ideas to make the port more environmentally friendly.
