Jens Meier has been Managing Director of the HPA since April 2008.
After studying computer science with a supplementary subject in economics, he started his professional career at Software Design & Management AG (Ernst & Young Group), where he was responsible for the Hamburg and Hanover offices as a member of the management board since 1997. In 2000, he became divisional director of Systematics AG (later EDS). Since July 2002, Jens Meier has been managing director of tts Holding GmbH & Co. KG. With the sale of the tts Group to the Fiege Group, he was appointed to the Management Board of Fiege Holding Stiftung & Co. KG, Greven.

Friedrich Stuhrmann has been Chief Commercial Officer at the Hamburg Port Authority since July 2021. He began his professional career after studying transport economics. After a management traineeship, Friedrich Stuhrmann held various management positions within the Eurogate Group, in particular as Commercial Manager and Authorized Signatory at EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven. Since 2018, Friedrich Stuhrmann has been managing director of MSC Gate Bremerhaven GmbH & Co. KG.

Tino Klemm has been working for the Hamburg Port Authority since October 2005. He has been involved in the establishment and development of the AöR and, in particular, in the issues of finance, accounting and controlling. Since 2017, Mr. Klemm has been a member of the Executive Board of the HPA. Before joining Hamburger Hafenmanagementgesellschaft, he held management positions at Flughafen Hamburg GmbH (FHG) for more than ten years, most recently as Managing Director of CSP Commercial Services Partner GmbH (a wholly owned subsidiary of FHG).
