Land Area Management

Port areas are highly dense nodes of complex transport systems. Not every land area is suitable for every purpose; some usages require very specific neighbourhoods, and well developed, large and multi-usable sites are always on demand.

Port planning, infrastructure development and site allocation go hand in hand and therefore have to be coordinated – something the HPA is able to do, as it is the owner of almost all land areas in the port and disposes of the complete documentation of all area-relevant issues. It contributes to full utilisation of existing potentials by acquiring tenants and managing tenancy agreements.

Such, the HPA is able to bring short and medium-term demand for land by port operating companies in line with strategic development projects.
